D.I.S.C.over: Self and Interpersonal Relationship

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Everyone is unique in personality and strengths. These distinctions, on one hand, allow us to accomplish different tasks, while on the other hand can cause misunderstanding and strife.
The purpose of this course is to allow the participants to pinpoint their behavioural style and the characteristics they undoubtedly carry, as well as to help participants better understand the behavioural traits of their colleagues, customers, family members and friends in an effort to better relate to one another more effectively.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Discover their own preferred behavioural style using the Extended DISC® profiling instrument
- Grow within their own style and extend beyond their style
- Understand and accept others who have differing behavioural styles from theirs
- Discover how people differ in their perceptions and in how they are motivated
- Identify the various styles when interacting with other people
- Adjust their approaches to improve their communication and interpersonal relations with their colleagues, customers and other people
- Create environments in which people whose styles differ from theirs can feel at ease and flourish

This course will be conducted in an interactive and fun manner with a blend of mini lectures; self-reflection; group discussions; appreciation and feedback session; hands-on exercises; and experiential activities.
